With the help of the very dedicated veterinary and shelter staff, we are able to save many lives and prevent suffering. The Veterinary Care Center also makes time to examine and treat an average of 5-10 injured or sick stray animals daily. Each year our staff veterinarians and volunteer veterinarians spay and neuter over 5000 animals! We average 25-30 surgeries per day Monday through Friday. All of our adoptions are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, de-wormed, and given flea/tick treatment before leaving the shelter.
